Tx for the great tips just a question about the gcd usage. It sounds like you need to use every gcd during the fight precisely, but there should be gaps where you just wait for energy anyways for the next bs, so why did it matter if you used the one before a second later than you could? Or do you mean only during the opening sequence one must hit all gcd perfectly without wasting any time?

So its better as a sword Rogue to put 3 points into improved slice and dice before 3 points into improved eviscerate? Im raiding and been using improved eviscerate all the time before slice and dice. Will my dmg output go up a lot if i make this switch? I mean improved eviscerate gives 15% extra dmg.

Looks nice, but I prefer the default damage numbers showing above the mob's head, instead of off to the side where you have no idea what mob the damage is happening to. It feels like I'm blind without the damage showing up normally.

can't imagine i'm actually comming back for this guide 3 years later to prepare for SoD darkmantle.

There are many advantages being a dagger rogue: Without worldbuffs daggers are far better in most fights, single target and cleave (exception e.g. Thaddius or Cthun if you get unlucky). You dont have to compete with warriors for swords. Daggers is a very chill and easier playstyle (you dont have to buttonmash constantly as a dagger rogue, you dont care about swingtimers). Tbh you should only go swords if you are human.

If you don’t plan to raid at end game-and for many, end game is running all the dungeons and collecting dungeon sets, maxing rep/professions, etc.-Darkmantle is obviously BIS for rogues. It looks way cool and for a non-raider, it’s a powerful set. If you change your mind about raiding later or if you decide to do some casual raid runs now and again, you’ll be set with Darkmantle. If you’re a sword rogue, you could really pretty much keep this full set until you start Naxx and it would be viable.

Although you don't make WotLK guides, I've personally missed your ability to summarize the overall efficient way you provide very high quality weak aura's and thought process behind them. From classic vanilla and on, I've personally used your style along with my own preferences to make weak aura's for every single class along with your ideal of only showing things dynamically in specific area's neatly to see what you need to see asap but hiding things that don't aren't necessary based on every fight all the way up to current phase of classic WotLK. I miss the ideals you brought to the table. Weak Aura's is the most powerful tool I've used playing any version of WoW. Wouldn't have decided to teach myself what I did without the example you set. Hope all is well.

Really weird. I'm using this addon for pvp. I want to check 'Killing blows'. On 5:14 I see in your version, which is slightly older now than my version (5.7.152 vs 5.8.1) i actually see killing blows. However on the version I have, at events, notification I have a screen full with 'Holy power full'. Like 20 times or so. I also see things like debuffs and debuff stacks, buff leave and enter combat. But not 'killing blows'. This is something I don't understand. Really too bad because that is the only reason I wanted this addon, lol. Any clue?

Daggers is better because of the high crit chance imo. BUT, the build is harder to talent for because you need imp backstab, opportunity, and lethality. This generally means you're going to give up important/quality of life talents somewhere, which can make a significant difference in your success in PvP. Therefore, hemo is the spec for ezmode gameplay. Daggers is for kings.

The hands down best part of Mik's is the sound effects. For example you can make a sound file play when you critically strike with a spell or skill. Then use a sound from mortal combat CRITICAL STRIKE. I also put a sound for when enemies crit me and when enemies (players) crit with skills. it makes it easy to tell if youre getting hit hard to go defensive . SOUND IS AWESOME. it actually does some things weak auras will not do.

MSBT is best. i just came back my old settings are gone and the options to edit rent workign i need a version that works with classic era

what a shit addon - now my entire combat text is gone after disabling it. the way it handles aoe is absolutely horrible. Thefuck do i care how much aoe dmg i did in total - i want individual targets, but then i have to have a gigantic scrolling area which is absolutely shit for single target. just get that trash out of here and give me the regular stuff back, but now i have to deinstall my entire client and adjust all my addons again -.-
